Flu Shot

Flu shots will be available mid October through February. There is no fear of a shortage this year. Shots will be offered through hospital-based programs. Tips
on preventing the flu:
Avoid close contact with people who are ill.
Stay home if you are sick
Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when
coughing or sneezing
Wash your hands with soap and water-this is
your best line of defense against illness
Avoid touching your eyes, nose, or mouth-germs
are spread when a person touches a contaminated object and then touches his/her eyes, nose, or mouth
Get plenty of sleep, follow a healthy diet,
drink plenty of water
(8 glasses/
day), and manage stress levels.
Stay well, stay safe and
have a healthy winter season.
